We proudly announce that the 11th Avian Model Systems Meeting will take place 11-14th September 2023 at the University of Portsmouth (UK).

 

For the first time after the COVID pandemic we will bring together scientists from across the world whose research focuses on birds.

 

Sessions will cover:

We will have a plenary discussion with funders and stakeholders on the future of avian models and avian research, and we have set time aside for a PI meeting to discuss the development of resources for the avian research community.

 

We also will have an extensive exhibition of commercial partners.

 

Portsmouth is the attractive waterfront city at the South coast of England, known for its maritime heritage and the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, with quick links to the Isle of Wight and the South Downs National Park. Portsmouth is also known for its shopping opportunities. Portsmouth can easily be reached via London Heathrow and Gatwick airports and Southampton airport. It also has ferry links with the Channel Islands, France and Spain.
